MEXICAN EXPROPRIATION

WASHING TON CONFERENCE
(Reed. Nov. 3, 10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 2,
The Mexican Ambassador after a conference with the American Undersecretary, Mr. S. Welles, announced that the respective Governments had virtually agreed on the issues presented by Mexico’s expropriation of the American-owned farmlands and a definite final agreement was expected shortly.
It was stated that the United States Government was anxious to clear up this question before attempting to negotiate on the petroleum expropriation.
