REBUFF FOR LABOUR
MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS LOSSES IN BRITAIN (Reed. Nov. 3, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. Labour .early received severe rebuffs in the municipal elections, losing c’ontrol at Burnley, Sunderland, Wakefield, Leicester and Bristol, though winning Gateshead and Erith, which were not previously controlled by Labour. The party also lost Hull. The Times points out that the net effect of 132 results declared last night was a Conservative advance against Labour. The gains and losses of the parlies
