ARREST OF CAPTAIN JAP A NFS E S l ISP 10 lONS (Reed. Nov. 3, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. The Tbkio correspondent of The Times says that Captain Stephen was taken into custody by the Yokohama police after the British steamer Antigone had grounded in the Japanese fortified zone of Futtsu on October 30.
The Japanese maintain that the mishap was not due to fog or currents and that Captain Stephen was liable to prosecution under the Japanese military secrets protection law.
