FRIENDSHIP OF TURKEY
ASSISTANCE APPRECIATED BRITAIN AND GERMANY (Reed. Nov. 2, 2.40 p.m.) ANKARA, Nov. 1. All Turkey listened eagerly to Kemal Ataturk’s message from his sickbed broadcast by the Prime Minister before the opening of Parliament. The message referred to Turkey’s sincere friendship towards all nations. It stated that the country was benefiting greatly from the Anglo-Turkish loan credit agreement of £16,000.000 and the Turko-German £12,500,000 credit agreement.
