Crooks, former manager of the service, who lias been appointed to a similar position with Ward's Transport on the East ("east route. In making the presentation of a fountain pen and pencil to Mr. Crooks on behall ol the stall', Mr. M. McNamara, acting manager, spoke appreciatively ol Mr. Crooks' association with the stall' and extended to him good wishes lor his success on the Coast. Air. Crooks briefly replied. Alter the presentation an adjournment was made to the Lyric Cafe for supper.
