CHARGE OF THEFT
HOTEL PORTER REMANDED (Ter Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Frederick Hilton, aged 35, a hotel porter, was remanded in the Police Court to-day till Wednesday on a charge of the theft on September 14 of an attache case containing £4B in cash and cheques amounting to £175 2s lOd, the property of George Logan Johnston.
