Holland’s Baby Princess
Since her christening Princess Beatrix ol' Holland had gone more than once by car to Apeldoorn, where. Queen Wilhelmina invariably spends this time of the year l in her favourite castle, states a writer in the London Daily Telegraph and Morning Post. Princess Juliana, who insists that babies should not be coddled, shortened her little daughter's frocks when she was a few days old. The Princess' wardrobe is simple and sensible, English styles predominating. In her English wheeled basket-cot, which can be moved about easily to catch the sunshine, little Princess Beatrix spends most of the day out of doors. Her favourite toy is a cuddly woollen blue bird which Princess Alice brought her as a christening present. The baby Princess is already taking notice of her surroundings. Princess Juliana is thinking of taking her baby to the sea for a summer holiday early in June. A sheltered resort on the North Sea coast will probably be chosen, the journey being made in the yacht which was one of her wedding presents. A special little bunk is being fitted for Princess Beatrix.
