ALL BLACKS V. THE REST
TENTATIVE FIXTURE INQUIRIES TO BE MADE (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A suggestion that the All Blacks would play a match against The Rest on their return to New Zealand was discussed at a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union yesterday. In view of numerous difficulties, such as the clashing of inter-provin-c al fixtures, it was agreed to communicate with Dr. J. G. Adams, administrative manager of the team, to ascertain whether the players could obtain the necessary leave should a match be arranged later in the season.
