EACH TAKES A FALL
VERDICT ON POINTS DETTON DEFEATS RAINES (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Dean Detton last night beat on points Dick Raines in a professional wrestling match over eight rounds. Each man had one fall, Raines taking one in the sixth round with a body press after dumps, and Detton gaining a submission fall in the seventh. The bout was not up to the expected standard, although it was at times willing.
