STATE AID SOUGHT REQUEST BY GROWERS (Pur Tress AssocintionA WELLINGTON, this day. For three hours to-day the New Zealand Fruitgrowers’ Federation discussed local marketing in committee, and an address was given by Mr. F. Picol, director of Internal Marketing. At the conclusion of the discussion, the following resolution was carried with only six dissentients: "That the Government be asked to organise, will) the co-operation ol the growers, the sale and distribution of pip fruit in New Zealand through the Internal Marketing Department, and that a minimum guarantee be given for such fruit.
