SEPARATION ANNOUNCED
CRAWFORD AND TONE HOLLYWOOD, July 22. Joan Crawford, the film actress, and Franchot Tone, her actor husband, announce that they have definitely separated. The announcement confirms I6ngcurrent rumours. They say that they are not planning a divorce at present at least. "We regret the action," they add, "but believe that it is the best way out for our future happiness."
