I An application was made to the Gfsborne Borough Council, sitting as the Makaraka Domain Board, last night by the Poverty Bay Hunt Club for permission to hold its annual point-to-point steeplechase outing on the Park Domain on Friday. It was pointed out that this was not the club's race meeting, which was to be held at Makaraka on the following Saturday, and permission was granted.
