MR. H. SUNDERLAND
CONFIRMATION NOT GIVEN
(Reed. July 28, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 27
It was stated to-day that a cablegram had been received saying that Mr. Harry Sunderland had accepted the secretary-managership of the Wigan Rugby League Club at a salary of £750 a year.
Mr. Sunderland, who is secretary of the Queensland League, declined today to confirm his acceptance.
The New Zealander, Roy Hargrave, who played for York and the Toulouse club, France, has arrived at Sydney en rbute to New Zealand.
