Eleven bandsmen, a woman, and a child were gravely burned by lightning during a storm at the annual festival of a village on the outskirts of Vianna do Castello, Portugal.
After 21 years' work, Mr. .1. W. Crouch, an 18-vear-old clerk, of Coombe road, Gravesend, has completed a model of Christ Church. Gravesend, made of 5000 matches glued together.
