The Ashburton County Racing Club’s winter meeting is being held to-day in ideal weather. There is a large attendance, and the track is in good order. Hinds Hurdles, of £125; U. miles and 100yds—4-3 The Surgeon, 10.11, 1; 1-1 Last Link, 10.9, 2; 3-2 Silver Light, 10.11, 3. All started. Won by a length, and two lengths. Time, 2.57 2-5.
