SYDNEY SHEEP SALES
NEW ZEALAND ENTRIES SOUTH ISLAND RAMS (Reed. June 25, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 25. The sheep sales began at the Show Ground yesterday. British breeds were chiefly offered. Forty-five Southdown ewes, on account of Mr. E. M, Hare, .of Feilding, New Zealand, ranged from Glgns to 7Jgns. Two Southdown rams, sold on behalf of Mrs. Frances Brown, of Waimate, averaged £9 Is. Three Ryeland rams offered on behalf of Mr. J. Hayhurst, Temuka, averaged £l4 14s.
One Border Leicester ram sold on behalf of Mr. J. Bisdee, South Canterbury, brought £5 ss. *
Three Border Leicester rams offered on behalf of Mr. J. Kelland, Temuka, averaged £6 Gs.
Sixteen Border -Leicester rams offered on account of Mr. Donald Grant, Timaru, totalled £223 2s 6d, an average of £l3 19s.
