Sir, —How much longer does tlie Borough Council propose to allow the buses to run via lower Iranui ro:Td? Even some Iranui road residents and passengers feel strongly on this point. Surely the council is not. going to be
satisfied with vague statements in lieu of definite proof? Revenue statistics over the whole route will not give the true position; number of passengers using the new corner should be the deciding factor. If the council asked the opinion of the bus drivers —the men who know—there would be a verv different story to toll.
We residents know Kniti revenue is not what it should be, but whether Mr. Ball admits it or not, it is an indisputable fact that tlie new route has proved a wash-out.
