THEFT IN WHAKATANE
FARMERS’ TRADING 00. SAFE AND £2OO TAKEN A safe and its contents, amounting to between £l5O and £2OO, were removed from the office of the Farmers Trading Company, Limited, Whakatane, during the week-end. The premises were made secure at 9.30 p.m. on Saturday and the theft was noticed at 8 a.m. to-day.
