Corpses and debris were scattered over 100 yards of the mountainside'.
The passengers consisted of M. Jafer Villa, the Albanian Minister to Rome, Mr. Samuel Brostoff, a British Jew. who was returning from Palestine, an American. Helen Lindheim, who was a guest at the wedding of King Zog, five Germans, an Argentinian and a Greek. The remainder were Italians, including a jeweller who was returning from

Gems valued at .1:20.000 are reported lo have been destroyed in the fire which followed the crash of the plane.
