CAPTURE OF SUSPECT CHASM BY YOUNG MEN (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Some young men who suspected that the New Lynn Post Office had been broken into about 7.30 last night chased a man and one of the pursuers, Cecil Bincion, caught and held him until the. police arrived. The-police found that a r.ane of glass in the back window had been broken, the hole being large enough for a man to enter. The burglar was disturbed and nothing was stolen. To-day, Robert Cockburn, aged 32, a miner and labourer, appeared in the Police Court before Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., charged with breaking and entering the New Lynn Post Office, with intent to commit a crime. The police obtained a remand to Monday next.
