The Matua is expected to leave Auckland to-day for Rarotonga, Nukualofa, Apia, and Suva, returning to Auckland about December 30. The Pukeko clears Auckland today for Gisborne and after discharging here on Saturday proceeds to Napier The Pakura loads at Wellington tomorrow and on Saturday for Napier and Gisborne. She is due here next Tuesday. The Awahou loaded wool on the Coast to-day for Napier. The Mako was expected to reach Gisborne last evening from Partland, but it was subsequently reported that the ship had sought shelter at Mayor Island, Bay of Plenty. The vessel reached Hicks Bay last night and this morning proceeded on to Tolaga Bay, whence she sails to-night for Gisborne, discharging here in the morning.

The Margaret W. was expected to clear Auckland at noon to-day for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne, arriving here on Saturday morning. The vessel should depart the same day for Auckland in order to load at the northern port as usual next week.

The Altair's departure for Auckland was delayed on account of unfavourable weather and she cleared Gisborne at. 4.50 a.m. to-day. At Auckland the scow will load a further shipment of benzine lor Gisborne.
