RAIN IN WAIKATO (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. Following a fortnight of hot weather during which the maximum temperatures of over 80 degrees have been common, the second heaviest fall of rain in the Waikato this year was experienced yesterday and to-day, bringing considerable relief to the pastures throughout the district.
