MISSING SOVIET FLYERS
RESUMPTION OF SEARCH PLANS OP WILKINS NEW YORK, Oct. 12. It is announced that Sir Hubert Wilkins, the famous explorer, is obtaining a new aeroplane, equipped with skis, and will resume the Arctic search for the missing Soviet airmen in a fortnight’s time. The missing aiVmen, who left Moscow on August 13 to cross the North Pole, were led by M. Sigismund Levanevsky, the Soviet ace. Mr. James Mattern, the American round-the-world flyer, also participated in the search for a short period.
