TRAINING FOR WOMEN
BRITISH WAR OFFICE POSSIBLE EM ERG ENCIES (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) LONDON, Oct. 13. Mrs. G. Cook, commandant of the Women’s Legion of Motor Drivers, announces that the War Office has decided on tiie further training of women in readiness for a war emergency. Regent’s Park barracks will be handed over to enable instruction to be given in drilling, signalling, mapreading, anti-gas precautions, first aid, transport, and engineering. An annual camp will also be held. The corps will be provided with an attractive uniform.
