SYDNEY WOOL SALES MARKET VERY FIRM FINER SORTS IN DEMAND SYDNEY, Oct. 12. There was a very firm market at to-day's wool sales, 'with a better tone for finer descriptions. The demand for dusty and inferior lots was very restricted. • Comebacks and crossbreds sold readily at late rates. Greasy Merino realised to 23Jd. The offerings were 13,084 bales, of which 10,064 bales were sold under Uie hammer. There were 1434 bales sold privately.
