President Roosevelt, in an address commemorating the Polish patrio., Paluaski, said: “We as a nation seel: spiritual union with all loving freedom. "We, of many bloods and diverse national origins, stand before the world to-day as one people united in common determination to uphold the ideal of human society which makes conscience superior to brute strength, an ideal which would substitute freedom for force in the Governments of the world.”
