LAWN TENNIS
MANGAPAPA CLUB ANNUAL MEETING The annual general meeting of the Mangapapa Tennis Club was held in the Oddfellows Hall, Mangapapa, last night, there being a fair attendance of members. The report, which showed a very satisfactory season, and the balance sheet, which revealed a surplus of £26 3s 6d, were both adopted. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr. R. M. Henson; president, the Rev. F. E. Leadley; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. L. Cooper, P. Sim, E. Glanville, 11. Faram, and J. J. Walsh; chairman, Mr. B. Crosby: secretary. Mr. E. Bennett; treasurer, Mr. J. Nisbett; club captain, Mr. L. Ferris; committee, men, the chairman, secretary, treasurer, Messrs. L. Ferris and I. Niven; ladies, Mrs. S. Seymour, Misses P. Beale, L. Bennett, H. Hewitson, and R. Bignell.
