Monetary Reform
Sir, —So many have written lately adversely commenting on the monetary policy ot the present Government that I would like to suggest to them they secure a book entitled “Money Power,” by Frank Amstey, M.P., and digest its contents. This illuminating book was originally published during the Great War under the title of “Shylock” and was banned. Why? Because of the truth it contained. It tells of what happened as regards finance in Great Britain and how the British Government and the people were “soaked.” It gives facts which are unassailable. These facts simply had to be kept from the people; consequently any book supplying them was promptly banned. Also 'The Bankers’ Conspiracy Which Caused the World Slump,” by Arthur Kitson, an authority of note, is very informative; and, coming nearer home, “N.Z. at the Crossroads,” by Henry J. kelliher, is a book that should be >'ead t y everyone in New Zealand, especially by those who think that our r cney system has been perfect and has reeded no alteration. —Yours, etc.. MONEY REFORM.
