.MRS I. P. CARSWELL PASSES (Herald Correspondent.) Mrs. I. P. Carswell, “Riverlands,” Waihua. died suddenly at her home on Saturday. The deceased, who was born in London, had resided most of her life in Wairon. As she had not been in good health for some time, having been under the care of a doctor, no inquest is necessary. The late Mrs. Carswell was head teacher of the, Waihua Native School for 10 years, and since her retirement from the position she had lived with her husband, an employee of the East Coast Rabbit Board. She leaves no children, but had two maiden sisters at Seatoun, Wellington. The funeral was to leave Waihua at 1.30 p.m. today for the Wairoa cemetery.
