LESS THAN PINT BOTTLES
BRITISH WINE SALES
(Reed. July 16, noon) LONDON, July 15.
Speaking in the House of Commons in support of a successful amendment of the Finance Bill allowing bottle license holders to sell British wines in less than pint bottles, Mr. W. S. Liddal (Con., Lincoln) said that at one time these were called raisin, orange and ginger wines, and if to-day they were given a more fancy name they were still made of the same stuff which abstainers delighted to orevide at weddings and funerals.
