ANXIETY OF ROOSEVELT
TREND OF CONFLICTS SPAIN AND FAR EAST NEW YORK, July 15. The Washington correspondent of the New York Times says that President Roosevelt is deeply apprehensive of the dangerous developments in the Spanish civil war and the ChineseJapanese dispute. It is understood that confidential reports to the President presage major developments in both crises within 48 hours, possibly sooner.
