Considerable success had been achieved in the radio world by Miss Hilda Morse, daughter of Mr. Cuthbert Morse, Auckland, and niece of Mr. and Mrs. Rrflph Morse, Gisborne. Miss Morse left New Zealand some time ago to be lady announcer at the Singapore radio station, but on arrival in Sydney she accepted an appointment as lady announcer at station 2FC. Since then she has received a responsible executive oosition at the Sydney B station, 2UE.

Advice has been received by Mr. Ralph Morse, Waikanae Beach", that his niece, Mrs. E. Griffiths, who was severely injured in a Wellington motor accident, has made a good recovery. Mrs. Griffiths is the wife of Captain Eric Griffiths, who recently returned to New Zealand after a period of service in the Spanish Air Force. Captain Griffiths had hoped to visit Gisborne, but his tour of the North Island had ended as a result of Mrs. Griffiths' accident.
