(Herald Correspondent.) Miss D. Jameson, Miss Shortl, Morere, and Mr. E. Te Ngaio, Nuhalca, are to be congratulated upon their splendid success at the Mahia Hunt Club's point-to-point meeting held at Murumuru on Wednesday, winning two firsts and two seconds out of seven events.
Major J. Armstrong is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. 11. Bayly, Tahaenui.— Mr. T. McKay is spending a short holiday in Napier.—Mr. D. Simpson, of the Nuhnka P. and T. stall', is on a week's sick leave in Wairon. —Mr. .1. Miller, postmaster, who was on annual leave, has been recalled to resume duty.—Mr. and Mrs. E.
