TOLAGA BAY MEETING REPOET BY DELEGATE (Herald Correspondent.) The monthly meeting of the Tolaga T!uv branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Reynolds Hall on Tuesday evening. Mr. J. p. Guthrie, the chairman, presided over a fair attendance of members. Six new members were admitted. The branch’s delegate, Mr. I. F. Watt, presented an interesting report on the inaugural meeting of the north and south area committee, and the L.R.C. meetings held at Kaitaratahi and Te Karaka respectively.. Mr. Watt received the congratulations of the branch for his services as delegate and also upon being elected a member of the Labour Representation Committee.

It was decided to commence active operations with regard to the recently formed social committee. A meeting for this purpose will be held at an early date. Matters in connection with the visit of the Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Labour, to the Coast on July 21 were dealt with and it was decided to communicate the result to the district member, Mr. A. G. Hultquist, for immediate consideration. Advice was received from Mr. A. G. Hultquist, M.P., that it was his intention to deliver a pre-sessionnl address at Tolaga Bay on August 14. The president and the secretary wore requested to make arrangements for this meeting upon receipt of further information from Mr,. Hultquist.
