POET OP GISBORNE The Wainui, with southern cargo, now at Napier, is due at Gisborne on Saturday morning, and on completion of discharge and loading is to sail for Dunedin, omitting Wellington. The Kaimai is expected to load coal, timber and posts at Greymouth about Saturday for Gisborne and Napier. The Pukeko reached Gisborne early this afternoon •from Portland »and Auckland. On completion of discharge and loading here to-night the ship proceeds to Napier, returning hater to Auckland, via Coast bays. The Pakura was due at Lytteit'm this morning to commence loading for Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and the Coast. The ship is to. leave Wellington on Saturday for Gisborne, in order to work here on Monday. The Awahou will load cement at Portland to-morrow for Osborne and Napier. The vessel is to discharge here early next week. The Margaret W. arrived at Gisborne at noon to-day from Auckland. It is hoped to dispatch the ship tonight or early to-morrow morning for Tolaga Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland.

The Tiroa is expected to return to Gisborne from Tokomaru Bay tonight, weather conditions having interrupted lightering operations at the Coast port.

The auxiliary scow Altair is reported to have left Auckland on Tuesday night for Gisborne. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turakina (Captain .1. Laird) left New Plymouth at 8.15 p.m. yesterday for Gisborne, where she is due to-morrow morning to commence loading frozen meat, butter and general cargo for London, sailing about Monday next for Jokomaru Bay to continue loading. Rain and rough seas prevented the completion of the loading of frozen meat and wool for United Kingdom ports by the Huntingdon at Tokomaru Bay yesterday and the vessel is now expected to finish to-day, when she sails for Napier.
