RETURN TO “BUSINESS”
SEVEN STOLEN SEVEN DAYS OUT OF GAOL (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Albert Leonard Hansen, 38, an engine driver, pleaded guilty to seven charges of the theft of bicycles of a value of £3l 15s. It was stated that he was discharged from gaol, on June 3, after serving time for similar offences, and on June 10 arrived in Wellington and lost no time in taking up his old business. The machines were sold to money lenders and dealers. He was sentenced to 18 months’ reformative detention on one charge and convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within six months on the others. ~ '«
