TAUBER TO SlNfi IN U.S
LONDON, July 2
Richard Tauber has signed a contract with ihe Columbia Broadcasting Corporation to give a scries of radio and concert performances in the United States during the winter. The value of the contract is said to be approximately £IO,OOO. Tauber v/ill bo accompanied by his wife, who is Miss Diana Napier, the British actress. His first concert will take place in October, in New York. Tauber’s comment was: “It is a marvellous opportunity.”
