COUNTY SUB-UNION KNOCK-OUT COMPETITION ROUND STARTS SATURDAY (Herald Correspondent.) The firr.t round of the Wairoa Rugby Sub-Union's knock-out competition will start on Saturday afternoon and it lias boon decided to play Nuhaka against Old Boys on No. 2 ground at Lambton Square. The game on the main ground will be between the Wairoa junior representatives and the Te Maori team.

The following is the draw:— Senior grade.—Nuhaka v. Old Boys, on Wairoa No. 2 ground at 2.45 p.m.: Mahia v. Ilikurangi, at McCrea’s at 2.30 p.m.: Whakaki and Waipapa, byes.

Junior grade.—Junior representative fixture between Wairoa and Te Moari, on No. 1 ground at 2.45 p.m.

Third grade—High School-Old Boys combined v. Pirates, on Wairoa No. 1 ground at 1.30 p.m.
