TENNIS BY TELEVISION
WIM BEE DON EXPERIMENTS LONDON. June 28. Television has been given a great fillip so far as the public is concerned by the televising of Wimbledon tennis. In a certain area of London the play was clearly seen in some sets. It is eight months since the service was introduced in London, and the progress in the workshops has been steady and remarkable. How remarkable will be seen at the Radio Exhibition to be held at Olympia from August 25 to September 4. Prices to-day begin at £6O a set, and it is unlikely that any reduction will be announced yet. It is estimated that twice as many firms will be exhibiting sets as at the previous exhibition.
