CRASH THROUGH BRIDGE
CAE FALLS INTO RIVER THREE OCCUPANTS ESCAPE (Por Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, last nighr. Three Invercargill persons, who were travelling to Dunedin to-day, had a fortunate escape from serious injury when their car went through the rails of a bridge at Waipahi and fell about 20ft. into the Waipahi River. The car was driven by Mr. A. S. Gilkison . and his passengers were Mrs. Gilkison and Miss D. Paterson. The car landed right side up on the four wheels and the women passengers suffered only minor injuries. They were brought back to Invercargill by car.
