TOKOMARU BAY NEWS

(ITernld Correspondent.) Week-end visitors to Gisborne included Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Morrison, Misses N. Hill and J. Mitchell, and Mrs. J. Todd.—Mr. Meyrick Williams, who has been visiting Captain and Mrs. S. J. Plummer, Tokomaru Bay, has returned to his home in Te Awamutu.

Sister Barilo, who is in charge of the Maternity Home, Tokomaru Bay, has returned from Auckland, where she spent three weeks’ holiday. In her absence, Sister Thomas, Gisborne, has been in charge of the home. Mr. and Mrs. Felton and their small son, Bobby, spent the week-end in Gisborne.—Mrs. and Miss Smith, Hawke’s Bay, are guests at Te Puka Hotel. Mrs. Smith is the mother of Mr. H. Smith, of the Tokomaru Bay branch of the Bank of New South Wales. —Mr. <r. Godbcr returned last week, after spending his annual vacation in Hawke’s Bay.—Mr. J. Eddy is away on annual leave.
