DOMINION ASSOCIATION ELECTION OF PRESIDENT (l’er Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The recently-appointed executive of the New Zealand Owners, Breederss and Trainers’ Association met in Wellington yesterday and framed a set of rules necessary for the functioning of the new body. It was decided that registration be left to the president and secretary. Dr. E. H. B. Milsom, of Auckland, was elected as president and the Hon. G. R. Hunter, of Christchurch as

l vice-president, with Mr. C. E. Craig, of Auckland, to iijl the dual position of treasurer-secretary. All other existing members of the executive were present, these being Messrs. W. J. Wood (Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay branch), A. R. Standish (Taranaki branch), and C. W. Boyd (Wellington-Manawatu-Wanganui branch). It was arranged that the secretary j should visit Canterbury, Otago, and j Southland in the near future to assist in further organisation work and

it was decided that the annual meeting should take place in Wellintgon in July of each year. Appreciative reference was made to the efforts of the honorary organiser, Mr. E. G. Sutherland, of Auckland, in the initial stages of the movement.
