The first rounds must be completed on or before July 18. handicaps at July 10 to apply, and then one round each week to the finals. In the event of a tie the decision will be made over the first and second holes.

Match and bogey play will be in foursomes. It has come to the notice of the committee that several players have not yet completed the second round of the handicap competition, owing to the pressure of other competitions, but they must play these matches this week-end or default.

Gisborne Park Ladies In the matches for the lady members of the Gisborne Park Club the vase for June was won by Miss J. Armstrong with an aggregate of 24G (84, T 9, and 83), and the runner-up was Miss M. Hockley, with 255 (81. 87 and 87).

The bogey competition played last week-end was won by Miss B. Kinder. The present holders of the stars, Mrs. Winter and Miss Winter, will play the challengers, Mrs. Stratton and Miss B. Cox, during the weekend.
