M. Jenkins, the,.rangatira, Savage R. Maclean, announced that the next korero would be held on July 28 and Sabage W. J. Sinclair would have the place, ol honour on that occasion.

This vear was the seventh in succession 'that the rangatira c«ild make the gratifying announcement that alt subscriptions had been paid by June 30 and on behalf of the executive he. thanked the members for the. manner in .which they had responded in order to carry on the record. A welcome was extended to the large number of visitors in ttie clubrooms.

The chairman said he had always appreciated, the enjoyable koreros. and explained that with the evening there should be a spirit of goodfellowship .and kindliness. .Under the baton of the musical director. Savage Mainland L. Foster, the orchestra contributed several lively Irish selections, which were freely encored by the Savages. A novelty orchestral item was provided with Savages C. V. Harre and Wyke as "Two Irish Bullfinches.” Vocal items, ‘‘Father O’Flynn” and “The Tankard," were rendered by Father Forsman, and "Minstrel Boy,” “'Tumble Down Shack in Athlone,” rind “Smiling Thru’,'’ by Savage Cameron. The accompaniments were played by Savage Wilfrid Kohn. Saxophone solos were contributed by Savage ’N. S. Kenward, and Savage David Lee recited “The Irish Exile’s Return” and “Casey at the Wake." An Irish Reel duo was given bySavage John Thodey and Master Leslie Ryan, and a humorous item by Savage Will B. Keaney was entitled “The Cassidy Family.”

The only i sketch of the evening was named- “Rejuvenation" and was extremely Well carried out by the players, who cleverly attracted the attention of the audience from the stage at the climax of the act. The players were Savages llarre. If. Wall, 11. McLetnon, R. Mcleah, and Canon A. F. Hall.
