FAT LAMB MARKET
AUSTRALIAN INTEREST TRAV ELLER’S IMPRESSION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Australia’s increasing interest in the export of fat lambs to the United Kingdom was commented on by Mr. L. R, C. Macfarlane, of Culverden, a former president of the Royal Agncultural Society who returned by the Wanganella to-day. He said that it was evident that Australia was making a bold bid to carfare a substantial part of the market, although the area at piesent devoted to production was comparatively limited. ... Mr Macfarlane brought back with him a number of stud Merino sheep.
