MIN IST B«’ S SUC! GESTION (Special to tlio Herald.) TOLAGA. BAY, this day. A suggestion that a soil survey was to be carried out in the district was made by the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, when speaking to farmers’ deputations to-day. Several speakers urged that officers of the Department of Agriculture should be requested to examine the local deposits d£ lime. The Minister said this work could be done most probably in connection with soil survey work to be carried out in the district.
