WIDOW LEAVES £24,000
BEQUESTS TO CHARITY (Ter Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Provision for charitable bequests amounting to £IOOO is made in the will of the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Winstone, a widow, formerly of Remu-' era, who died in Auckland on June 3. The estate has been sworn for probate at not more than £24,000. The sum of £2OO is bequeathed to the Community Sunshine Association, £3OO to the Salvation Army, and £SOO is to be paid to the City Council for the purchase of pictures for the Auckland art gallery.
