BURIAL PLACE OF POLAND’S KINGS. —A view of the cathedral and castle (known as the Wawei) above the River Vistula in Cracow, Poland, where are situated the tombs of Poland's ancient Kings, as well as the graves of her most notable sons. The coffin of Marshal Pilsudski, former Polish dictator, on which King Carol of Rumania was to place a wreath, was removed by the Archbishop of Cracow, resulting in violent demonstrations.
