CRASH BY COBHAM
ESCAPE WITH CO-PILOT WRECK OF MACHINE (Reed. June 30, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 29. Flying a two-seater plane, Sir Alan Cobham crashed near Southampton airport to-day. He suffered slight cuts and abrasions. The co-pilot suffered shock. The machine was wrecked. The crash was due to the engine cutting out.
