KILLING SEASON ENDS DECLINE IN SOUTH OTAGO (Spncinl to tlio Herald.) DUNEDIN, this day. The killing season for the South Otago freezing works closed on Saturday with a total of sheep and lambs of 251,774, a decrease of 30,033 compared with the previous season. The cattle killed numbered 3729, a decrease of 123 and pigs killed totalled 737, a decrease of 219. These figures cover the killings for export only.
